Co-Founder's Message

Dear Friends:

The Albino Charity Organization shares the vision with the world that all children should be given a chance and opportunity to reach their full potential. To achieve this vision we chose to focus on the albino children in Tanzania, the most dependent children who are forgotten when it comes to exercising their full potential. We continue to strive to make a positive and healthy development environment for these children. Our goal is to close the gaps that exist between the albinos and other people in their communities.

We recognize and value the diversity of different cultures. However, we must also understand that people with albinism have the same equal rights to live and enjoy all the benefits as others in their communities. They should not be abused, neglected or exploited. They should not face fear or suffer any risk of violent behavior when they are in the community as they contribute to the well being of the community as a whole.

We seek public support to enable us to continue providing service to the albino children in the different compounds in Tanzania. We design and implement different programs that are fruitful to the society and enable the children to prepare for success. We are excited and continue to look forward to your contribution on this endeavor. Different donors, volunteers and other organizations are welcome to partner with us. Thank you for taking the time for visiting the website.

Founder's Appreciation

During the 2010 holiday season I sent a gift for the needy to Tanzania. I did not know that I was getting close to my “wish coming true” moment. I wanted to start a charity since 2002 but was still seeking for the right cause for me. My mother introduced me to albino children in the Buhangija compound of Shinyanga during her trip to deliver a gift to children living in poverty. This is when I learned firsthand of the albino population’s predicament in Tanzania, and from that moment on I knew that it was my calling to help improve the situation for albino children. Thank you very much mother!

I decided to use this opportunity to pursue the well-being of all humanity by starting this organization. I understand that we are all in an excellent position to help the albino population of Tanzania. I am so thankful that since we started, we have received so many positive responses and motivation from people around the world. With the help of all our friends from around the world, we are excited to start implementing various projects that will bring about positive outcomes around the albino issue.

We do not have to witness the persecution of albinos in our country anymore as it has already been devastating enough for everyone. Thank you my team at Albino Charity Organization for your everyday effort you put into the organization. I believe that we are the right team for this. Again, thank you all for visiting us and please continue to come back from time to time for the updates.
